Karcher SB Wash MU Self-Service Car Wash Equipment

Kärcher’s new SB Wash MU (self-service multi-bay vehicle wash) is a completely modular system designed for commercial operations with between four and eight self-service wash bays.

For many years, the car wash industry has been aware of the excellent returns possible from self-service wash bays, but they have not been without problems.

The biggest issue in Australia is providers supplying cheap equipment from some European and Chinese manufacturers under the guise of a complete "professional" package.

These installations are also commonly used for trialling and testing even cheaper components - certainly not good when the system fails outside the warranty period or the Australian supplier simply cannot afford to fix the problems created and disappears.

This is where the Karcher SB Wash MU system has a distinct advantage. Karcher has the largest research and development team in the commercial cleaning equipment supply industry. They also have the most thorough reliability testing facilities in the world, both in-house and in the field.

Before being delivered to the site, all components are pre-assembled and tested by trained Karcher technicians in the factory in Germany. This ensures complete "Plug and Play" convenience for rapid, trouble-free deployment and eliminates the local practice of cheap, sub-standard parts substitution.

The SB Wash MU can be configured with a range of standard and optional equipment including long-life, water-cooled pressure pumps, any number of pneumatic chemical dosing pumps to suit the chosen options, reverse osmosis de-ionised water, and water recycling.

All componentry is laid out neatly and logically for ease of service and maintenance. And being a truly modular system, optional components can be added at any stage.

Your customer is guided systematically and efficiently through the washing process using the large dial interface common across the entire Karcher range. There is a total of eleven possible washing programs - all displayed as simple pictograms - no language issues.

There are only two wash tools required in the bay for most applications - a brush and a lance - and the same washing lance is used for all programs. The customer does not need to change lances.
