The Karcher KM 75/40 Bat is a compact, battery-powered, walk-behind sweeper.
It has a swept path of 750 mm and a 40 litre waste hopper.
The sweeping principle is "overthrow", which enables the full capacity of the waste hopper to be utilised.
A bulky waste flap allows big debris such as pallet scraps, food wrappers, etc. to be swept up "on-the-go".

It is also recognised globally as the most powerful and easiest to use sweeper in its class.
Karcher achieved this by designing the sweeper with 2 x 12-volt, maintenance-free batteries, providing a total available of 24 volts. This is twice the available power of similar sweepers. With the extra power on tap, Karcher engineers were then able to fit an oversized industrial-grade motor to drive the fine dust vacuum turbine, main and side brushes, and the self-propel system. The run time between battery charging for the KM 75/40 Bat also increased.

• Dust Control

Other important features of the Karcher KM 75/40 B are the innovative fine dust filtration system and the ease of brush maintenance.
Regarding the dust filtration system, Karcher revolutionised routine sweeper maintenance by engineering the KM 75/40 sweeper with a flat, pleated, fine dust filter that is accessible without removing the waste hopper. It requires no tools to service and can be replaced or checked by an operator in under thirty seconds.
The filter is also washable polyester.
The KM 75/40 B also features a practical and easy to use filter cleaning device to maintain optimum fine dust control at all times.

• Maintenance & Ease of Use

Following the same advanced design principles, the brushes are quickly changed, serviced and maintained without the need for tools.
The forty litre waste hopper of the KM 75/40 B is quickly removed and emptied. Integrated trolley grip and transport wheels on the hopper allow for safe travel to a disposal bin. The hopper is also lightweight and corrosion proof.
A simple LED state of charge indicator provides constant battery performance monitoring and alerts the operator if charging is required.
The operator controls are simple and intuitive.
